Lethal Dose of Happiness :

Our very first project ! Lethal Dose of Happiness is a seinen (BeamComix) anthology by Ruu1mm that explores the different shapes that love can take, from toxic codependency to found family. Only the first 2 chapters are BL but I hope you will read them all ! Ruu1mm is a mangaka who often pairs cuteness with psychological themes, and this anthology is a perfect example of that.

This project was very personal to me and wouldn't have been possible without the help of Fuhoe, who very kindly accepted to not only clean and typeset this manga, but also any future projects that I may have ♪(´▽｀) Please check her scans page where she posts other BLs ! I had a lot of fun translating each chapter, especially the last one—as I had to figure out how to convey the many nuances of the verb "to share"—but my personal favorite remains the title story, "Lethal Dose of Happiness". I really resonate with stories that explore the dynamics of codependency, and how, sometimes, we love someone so much that they become the very purpose of our existence.
